- Description
Control panels and control units are cockpit-mounted or equipment-panel modules used to switch, select, command and monitor aircraft onboard systems. In helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft, these units may control radio communication equipment, navigation systems, electrical circuits, warning or indication functions, power distribution sections and various auxiliary systems installed in the cockpit or avionics bay.
On Soviet and Russian-designed platforms such as Mi-8, Mi-17, Mi-171, Mi-24, An-24, An-26 and related aircraft families, control panels are normally selected by part number, system application, panel marking, connector type, voltage, installation location and compatibility with the installed avionics or electrical equipment. Two panels with a similar external layout may still differ by internal wiring, command logic, switch configuration or aircraft modification, so replacement is usually checked against technical documentation or the installed sample.
This category includes avionics control panels, cockpit control units, radio control panels, navigation control units, electrical switching panels, mode selection modules, indication panels and related aircraft system control components. Depending on the application, a control panel may be used for radio station operation, navigation equipment setting, electrical circuit switching, system mode selection, command signal transmission or status indication during flight and ground checks.
Control panels are commonly required during avionics repair, cockpit refurbishment, scheduled maintenance, electrical system troubleshooting, modernization programs and restoration of airworthiness. In service, these units operate under vibration, temperature changes, repeated switching cycles and long duty periods. For older aircraft, panel condition, contact reliability, correct markings and connector compatibility are often just as important as the part number itself.
Depending on the specific position and customer requirement, aircraft control panels may be supplied in factory new, serviceable, storage-preserved or overhauled condition. For selected items, technical passports, certificates of conformity, release documents, origin records or available traceability information may be provided upon request.
Aviamisto supplies aircraft control panels, avionics control units and related cockpit electrical components for MRO organizations, repair facilities, fleet operators and aviation parts suppliers working with Mi-8, Mi-17, Mi-171, Mi-24, An-24, An-26 and other Soviet or Russian-designed aircraft. Some standard positions may be available from UAE or EU stock locations, while less common panels are sourced upon request by aircraft type, part number, system application and technical documentation.
