Block 10A is an aircraft control panel used for remote control of the R-863 onboard command VHF/UHF radio station. It is also associated with R-862 / R-863 radio station configurations where applicable by aircraft documentation. The panel is installed in the cockpit and allows the crew to select operating frequencies, switch preset communication channels and control radio station modes without direct access to the main transceiver equipment.

The main function of Block 10A is remote frequency and mode control of the aircraft command radio station. The panel may include controls for noise suppressor activation, emergency receiver operation, modulation selection and transfer of control between working positions. The “PSh” control is used for the radio station noise suppressor. The “AP” control is associated with emergency receiver operation. The “AM–FM” control selects the modulation type where applicable. In two-panel installations, the control transfer function allows radio station control to be assigned to one crew position or another.
