About this category

Aircraft landing, taxi and search lights are grouped here by exact unit designation and recorded execution. The catalogue includes MPRF, PRF, FPK, FPP, FPR, FR and FOAZ positions used for different external-lighting tasks. Similar housings do not make two units equivalent: electrical ratings, beam function, mounting and installation interfaces can differ even within a related family.

External light families serve different installation tasks

Recorded positions include MPRF-1M, PRF-4M, FPK-250, FPP-7, FPP-7M, FPP-9, FPR-14, FR-100 and FOAZ-1A. Each remains a separate product page so that its marking and available data are not mixed with a neighbouring model. Family proximity is useful for catalogue navigation but does not prove interchangeability.

Mounting, supply and optical function determine the match

Compare the complete label on the removed unit with the aircraft parts catalogue, wiring data and maintenance documentation. Selection may require supply voltage, power, mounting points, connector or terminal arrangement, installation position and the intended lighting function. Use only parameters documented for the exact designation.

  • record the complete light designation and suffix;
  • state the aircraft and installation position when documented;
  • provide supply and connection data;
  • photograph the lens, mounting points and label;
  • add quantity and document requirements.
