control panel
Available on back-order
B7A2-YAPL / B7A2-JAPI is an onboard control panel used as part of the Yadro-1G HF aircraft radio communication system. The unit provides the flight crew with control over the operating modes and functions of the onboard HF radio station installed on the aircraft. It is not a standalone radio device; it operates as a cockpit interface within the complete Yadro-1G radio communication system and supports interaction between the crew and the radio equipment during flight operations.
The B7A2-YAPL / B7A2-JAPI panel allows the crew to control the working modes of the Yadro-1G HF radio station from the cockpit. Through the panel, pilots can select working frequencies, set operating modes, adjust audio volume and check the serviceability of the radio equipment. The panel transmits control commands to the connected HF radio blocks, including the transceiver, power amplifier and antenna tuning equipment. This allows the main radio equipment to remain installed in the radio compartment while the crew keeps direct control from the cockpit.
The B7A2-YAPL / B7A2-JAPI uses a discrete frequency setting principle with mechanical selection drums and numerical frequency indication. The panel supports frequency selection within the working range of the connected Yadro-1G radio station. Control is performed remotely by a “2 out of 5” code command system, which is used to transmit frequency and operating commands to the radio equipment. Stable operation of the control panel depends on the condition of selectors, switches, connectors, electrical supply and the connected Yadro system blocks.
The B7A2-YAPL / B7A2-JAPI control panel is installed in the aircraft cockpit, normally on the instrument panel, overhead electrical panel or communication control area depending on aircraft type and layout. On Mi-8 / Mi-17 helicopters, this type of panel may be mounted on the right side of the upper cockpit electrical panel, close to other communication and navigation controls. The panel is built for aircraft operating conditions, including vibration, temperature variation and onboard electrical loads.
The B7A2-YAPL / B7A2-JAPI is used on helicopters such as Mi-8, Mi-17 and related modifications, as well as on other aircraft equipped with Yadro-1G or related Yadro-family HF radio stations. The radio system provides long-range two-way HF communication between aircraft and ground stations. Since aircraft communication installations may differ by modification, installed radio version and modernization status, applicability should be confirmed through the aircraft equipment list, wiring documentation and radio station operating documentation before supply or installation.
The control panel may be referenced as B7A2-YAPL, B7A2-JAPI, B7A2-IPR1, B7A2-YaR1, B7A2-YAR1, B7A2-JAR1, B7A2-PR1, Б7А2-ЯР1, Пульт Б7А2-ЯР1 or Б7А2ЯР1. In some inventories and export lists, the unit may appear as “Control Panel” or “Control Unit HF”. These names should be checked against the actual marking plate and aircraft documentation before ordering. For correct supply, it is useful to specify the aircraft type, installed Yadro radio version, required condition, connector configuration and documentation requirements.
