Hydraulic parameters and working fluid

The documented working pressure is 130 kgf/cm². The jack uses AMG-10 hydraulic fluid and contains approximately 5.5 litres. Its mass with working fluid is 50 ±1 kg. These values are specific to 8AT-9907-00 and replace the former generalized technical block; they should still be checked against the passport supplied with the individual unit.

During lifting, all jacks must be positioned at the designated aircraft points and operated in the sequence prescribed by the maintenance manual. A 5000 kg rating for one jack does not define the total permissible lifting operation by simple multiplication. Helicopter configuration, loading, surface condition and synchronization remain part of the approved procedure.

Aircraft-family reference: Mil Mi-8. This external reference does not replace the approved maintenance manual.

Inspection and identification of 8AT-9907-00

Before use, inspect the base, cylinder, piston rod, adjusting screw, saddle, pump, valves and seals. Check for leakage, corrosion, impact damage and incomplete return of the piston. The identification plate and full 8AT-9907-00 designation should correspond to the passport; dotted forms such as 8AT.9907.00 are search variants, not proof of a different or interchangeable model.

The jack must stand on a stable prepared surface and be handled only by trained personnel. Calibration or inspection dates, permissible storage life and fluid condition are established from the supplied records. A clean external appearance does not replace a functional inspection, especially for equipment that supports an aircraft during maintenance.
