BZ-30 fuse protection block

BZ-30 is the Latin catalogue form of the БЗ-30 protection block manufactured to TU16-522.001-82. It is a two-pole holder for replaceable high-current fuse links and protects an electrical circuit against overcurrent by opening the installed fuse. The device is an electromechanical protection component, not a computing or control module.

Fuse range and construction

Technical documentation lists BZ-30 for PV-30A, PV-40A and PV-50A fuses and for open PV-60AS, PV-80AS and PV-100AS links. The assembly uses an insulating plastic base with two fuse holders. Electrical conductors connect to M6 terminal studs, while the body is attached to the panel with M4 screws. The permitted fuse type and rating are defined by the protected circuit.

Dimensions and installation

The recorded overall dimensions are 80 × 18 × 25 mm and mass is approximately 52 g. The compact format allows panel installation inside an electrical-distribution assembly. Public technical material reviewed for BZ-30 does not identify a specific aircraft type; the same part family appears in special and ground equipment. It should be assigned to an aircraft only when an approved wiring diagram or parts catalogue names it.

Electrical protection role

The fuse link must be selected together with conductor size, expected load and fault-clearing requirements. A higher-current link must never be installed merely because it fits mechanically. Inspection and supply request

Inspect the insulating base for cracks, carbon tracking and heat damage and check the holders, terminal threads and contact surfaces for corrosion or looseness. Returns & Changes (Restocking Fee)
