AZK1M-10
Aircraft Circuit Breaker
Description
AZK1M-10: 10 A first-series push-button circuit breaker
AZK1M-10 is the 10 A execution of the first-series AZK1M single-pole push-button circuit breaker. It protects aircraft DC and AC electrical circuits against overload current and short-circuit current. The original Cyrillic marking is АЗК1М-10. Because the designation has no 2S suffix, it identifies the first series; that distinction must remain in an inquiry and in maintenance records.

Construction and versions
AZK denotes a push-button protective breaker, the numeral 1 identifies one protected pole, and M denotes a metallized housing. The thermal mechanism has free-trip action, so holding the control button in the ON position cannot prevent an automatic trip. A white ring is visible above the sleeve when the breaker is OFF. The two terminals, housing profile, current marking and absence of a series suffix should all be checked against the removed unit.
The 10 A marking is the rated-current execution. It does not by itself establish aircraft applicability, conductor size or interchangeability with a neighbouring rating. Related products AZK1M-15 and AZK1M-20 are supplied as separate protective settings and are linked only for catalog navigation.
Rating-specific data
For AZK1M-10, the specified boundary-current range at +20 °C is 1.2–1.4 times rated current. At −60 °C it is 1.5–1.7 times rated current. Under rarefied conditions of 2 kPa at +60 °C, the range is 1.05–1.30 times rated current. The maximum reference resistance used in aircraft protection calculations is 0.02670 Ω. These values distinguish this execution from other AZK1M ratings.
The family is specified for networks up to 27 V DC and 115 V AC at 400 Hz or 320–1050 Hz, an ambient range from −60 to +60 °C and relative humidity up to 98% at +40 °C. The reference resistance and boundary-current ranges are used when checking protection coordination under OST 1 00195-76. Short-circuit interruption capacity, time-current behaviour and final acceptance remain tied to the exact rating and the individual product passport.
Ordering information
Before installation, compare the full marking, rated current, network type, AC frequency, terminals and mounting interface with the approved wiring diagram and parts data. Inspect the body for cracks, overheating, corrosion, damaged threads or loose hardware. Testing and installation should follow the product passport, 8Ю3.619.294 ТУ and the applicable aircraft maintenance documentation.
The surrounding architecture is described in the Wikipedia article on aircraft electrical systems. More executions are available in the Circuit Breakers category. State both AZK1M-10 and АЗК1М-10 when the source document uses mixed alphabets.
