IZH2.000.099-05 is an onboard VHF transceiver and the main functional unit of the Orlan-85ST aircraft radio station. The unit is designed to provide two-way simplex radiotelephone voice communication between aircraft crews and ground air traffic control services, as well as communication between aircraft in flight.
The transceiver operates in the civil aviation VHF communication band and supports ICAO-compliant channel spacing, enabling use in international airspace, including European regions. It ensures reliable reception and transmission of voice signals and continuous operation as part of the aircraft radio communication system.
IZH2.000.099-05 integrates receiving and transmitting circuits, providing RF signal selection, amplification, modulation, and output power generation. The unit is powered by the aircraft onboard DC electrical system and is intended for installation on fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters as part of the Orlan-85ST radio station set.
The transceiver is supplied as part of the radio station and is designed for long-term operation under aviation environmental conditions.
