Yadro-1G1 onboard HF aircraft radio station

Yadro-1G1 is an onboard HF aircraft transceiver radio station designed for simplex radiotelephone communication with ground HF radio stations and between aircraft in flight. The system provides preset, non-search and non-tuned operation, which removes the need for manual frequency search and receiver tuning during normal use. It is used as part of the aircraft radio communication system and supports long-range two-way HF voice communication beyond line-of-sight coverage.

Simplex HF communication through Yadro-1G1

The Yadro-1G1 radio station provides communication in the HF band, where radio signals can support extended-range communication depending on flight altitude, frequency selection, propagation conditions and antenna condition. The system is suitable for aircraft routes where ground communication infrastructure may be limited or where VHF coverage is not sufficient. At a flight altitude of 1000 m, the communication range is specified as not less than 400 km under applicable operating conditions.

Frequency operation and radio performance of Yadro-1G1

Yadro-1G1 operates within the shortwave aviation communication band and uses fine frequency spacing for preset channel operation. The radio station supports simplex voice communication modes, including OMB and AM modes according to the operating documentation. The transmitter output power is provided through the power amplifier, while the receiver section supports reliable HF signal reception. Correct operation depends on the transceiver assembly, power amplifier, antenna tuning unit, control panel, power supply, feeder line and external antenna installation.

Antenna and installation layout of Yadro-1G1

The Yadro-1G1 system operates with an aircraft HF antenna installation, including a trailing wire or cable-type antenna arranged along the aircraft tail boom where specified by the aircraft documentation. The main radio blocks are normally installed in the radio equipment compartment, while the control panel is mounted in the cockpit for crew access. The antenna tuning unit matches the antenna-feeder system to the transmitter path and supports operation across the selected HF frequency range.

Returns & Changes (Restocking Fee)
