HF Transceiver
B1-IARP-1A / B1-YarII-1A is an onboard HF transceiver-exciter unit used in aircraft shortwave radio stations of the Yadro family, including Yadro-1A1 and Yadro-1G1 configurations. The unit performs the main receive and excitation functions of the radio station and works together with the power amplifier, antenna matching unit, remote control panel and auxiliary system blocks. It supports simplex radiotelephone communication between aircraft, as well as communication with ground-based HF radio stations.
The B1-IARP-1A / B1-YarII-1A unit is intended for formation, reception and transmission of HF radio signals within the onboard radio communication system. In receive mode, it receives amplitude-modulated and single-sideband signals. In transmit mode, it forms the required operating mode and frequency grid, then amplifies and converts the high-frequency signal before it is supplied to the power amplifier. The final transmitted power is provided by the complete radio station configuration, not by the receiver-exciter block alone.
The B1-IARP-1A / B1-YarII-1A operates in the shortwave frequency range used for long-range aircraft communication. The unit supports fine frequency setting and operation in several emission modes, including single-sideband, amplitude modulation, AFSK and CW modes depending on system configuration. Frequency and mode selection are controlled remotely from the cockpit control panel. Stable operation of the unit depends on the condition of the associated control panel, power amplifier, antenna matching equipment, cooling system, onboard power supply and aircraft wiring.
The unit is installed in the radio equipment compartment of aircraft and helicopters equipped with Yadro-family HF radio stations. Application references include Mi-8 and Mi-17 helicopters, as well as aircraft such as An-24, An-28, An-72 and Il-76, depending on the installed radio communication configuration and aircraft documentation. Since Yadro radio sets can differ by aircraft type and modification, applicability should be confirmed by the aircraft equipment list, wiring documentation and radio station maintenance manual.
B1-IARP-1A / B1-YarII-1A requires forced air cooling during onboard operation. Cooling is normally provided through the aircraft ventilation or radio station cooling arrangement, including associated system blocks such as B18-YarI where applicable. The receiver-exciter operates with the power amplifier, antenna matching unit, control panel and auxiliary blocks of the Yadro radio station. A fault in cooling, antenna matching, power amplifier loading or power supply can affect transmission stability, receiver performance or operating reliability, so the block should be checked as part of the complete HF radio system.
The unit may be referenced as B1-IARP-1A, B1-YarII-1A, B1-YARII-1A, B1-YaRII-1A, B1-YR2-1A, Б1-ЯрII-1А, Б1-ЯР2-1А or Б1-ЯР-11-1A. The deletion / part number may be specified as I82.257.007-03. These designations can appear in aviation technical property lists, repair documents and export catalogs, but the exact execution should be checked before ordering. For correct supply, it is useful to specify the aircraft type, installed Yadro radio version, required condition, documentation set, connector configuration and whether associated blocks are also required.
