Description
The 8A-1516-30 is a hinged section of the tail drive shaft assembly used on Mi-series helicopters as part of the 8A-1516-000 transmission line. This section transfers torque toward the tail gearbox while absorbing structural flex, angular deflection and vibration transmitted along the tail boom.
It acts as a flexible link within the shaft system, compensating for misalignment, dynamic load changes and structural movement that occur during helicopter operation. Together with rigid and other hinged shaft sections, it ensures uninterrupted torque transmission from the main gearbox to the tail rotor.
The component is installed on major Mi-8 series variants and is supplied either as an individual spare part or included within a complete tail shaft assembly package.

Pre-Order — made-to-order products are manufactured and delivered within an average of 45–60 business days. Payment terms: 50% advance payment to start production, with the remaining 50% paid before dispatch from the Dubai warehouse after full readiness for shipment.
Returns & Changes (Restocking Fee)
For selected items, a RESTOCKING FEE of 10% may apply in case of return, order cancellation, or changes to the order specifications. This condition applies only to certain products and is confirmed at the order approval stage.

All products are covered by a standard 6-month warranty.
