MLP-23-1 inside protected onboard flight data recorders

The MLP-23-1 is an aircraft parametric magnetic tape transport mechanism used inside protected onboard flight data recorders. It is not installed as a separate cockpit or avionics unit. The mechanism works as an internal recording assembly of protected recorder units such as ZBN-1-1 and ZBN-1-3. Its purpose is to move magnetic tape and support recording of flight parameter information received from the aircraft flight data recording system.

The mechanism itself should not be selected only by general system name. The recorder type, system version, aircraft configuration and documentation must be checked before replacement.

Since this is an internal recorder mechanism, it is important to confirm whether the customer needs the mechanism only, a complete ZBN recorder, or a recorder repair kit. Returns & Changes (Restocking Fee)
For selected items, a RESTOCKING FEE of 10% may apply in case of return, order cancellation, or changes to the order specifications. This condition applies only to certain products and is confirmed at the order approval stage.

Extended warranty is available upon request and is agreed individually; it may affect the final product price.
