AR5-1

AR5-1 antenna is used to transmit microwave energy toward the ground and receive the reflected return signal as part of the RV-5M (A-037) radio altimeter system.
The antenna provides the directional radiation pattern and supports the two-way flow of RF energy required for true altitude measurement of aircraft over land or water.

AR5-1 is installed as part of RV-5M (A-037) radio altimeter system configurations and operates in conjunction with A-037-1 series transceivers and A-034-4 series indicators.
The system typically uses two AR5-1 antennas — one for transmission and one for reception — to enable continuous radar altitude measurement.

The AR5-1 antenna does not perform computational or display functions.
Its role is limited to radiating and receiving radar energy within the operating frequency band of the altimeter; processing is carried out by the electronic units of the system.

The antenna is mounted externally on the airframe in positions ensuring downward coverage and unobstructed transmission of microwave signals.

Returns & Changes (Restocking Fee)
For selected items, a RESTOCKING FEE of 10% may apply in case of return, order cancellation, or changes to the order specifications. This condition applies only to certain products and is confirmed at the order approval stage.

All products are covered by a standard 6-month warranty.
Extended warranty is available upon request and is agreed individually; it may affect the final product price.
