vibration sensor
Available on back-order
The MV-03-2 is a piezoelectric vibration sensor designed for installation on the TV3-117 engine casing and integrated into the IV-500E vibration monitoring system used on Mi-8/Mi-17 helicopters.
It performs the same sensing function as MV-03 and MV-03-1 variants, but is supplied with a factory-installed 1.75-meter cable, providing a ready-to-connect configuration for aircraft wiring harnesses.
The sensor detects vibration velocity in the engine structure and transmits the measurement signal through the USS-6 matching devices to the BE-9E electronic processing unit.
The signal is used to trigger cockpit annunciator lights when vibration amplitude exceeds preset caution or emergency thresholds.
MV-03-2 is engineered for continuous airborne operation, exposure to high vibration fields and thermal variation, and is built in a sealed housing suited for external engine mounting.
Alternate designations:
MV-03-2, MV032, МВ-03-2, МВ032
All refer to the same unit.
Purpose: Measure and transmit engine vibration signal
Systems: IV-500E vibration monitoring equipment
Application: Mi-8, Mi-17, Mi-171 (TV3-117 powered aircraft)
Product Type: Piezoelectric vibration sensor with cable
Cable Length: 1.75 m
Sensor Capacitance (with cable): 900–2000 pF
Sensitivity Tolerance: ±10%
Mounting Location: Directly on engine casing
Signal Path: MV-03-2 → USS-6 → BE-9E → cockpit annunciators
Operating Mode: Continuous airborne monitoring
Weight: Approx. ≤0.12 kg (sensor + cable)
Condition: As applicable
Documentation: Manufacturer passport provided
