PTS-800BM Static Power Converter Overview

The PTS-800BM is an aircraft three-phase static power converter designed to convert 27 V DC electrical power into three-phase AC power with a frequency of 400 Hz and an output voltage of 200/115 V. The converter supplies onboard AC electrical consumers as part of aircraft electrical power systems and ensures stable output parameters during continuous operation under specified operating conditions. PTS-800BM Electrical Conversion Principle

The converter transforms DC power from the aircraft onboard network into regulated three-phase AC output. The internal architecture includes two identical single-phase voltage inverters and a three-phase forming stage that generates the required AC waveform. The control and regulation system maintains stable frequency and voltage parameters while providing protection against abnormal operating conditions and electrical overloads.

The converter is used in aircraft onboard electrical power systems to supply equipment requiring three-phase 400 Hz AC power. Typical consumers include avionics units, navigation systems, instrumentation devices, and other electrical equipment installed on aircraft and helicopters. The unit is installed on various types of aviation platforms including Mi-8/17/171/172 helicopters as well as aircraft such as An-148, Tu-204, Tu-214 and other aircraft types.

PTS-800BM Structural Design

The converter is housed in a rectangular enclosure containing power electronic modules, control and protection printed circuit boards, input and output filters, and a forced-air cooling system. Thermal management is provided by an integrated fan automatically activated when internal temperature reaches 94–98 °C. For aircraft installation the unit is mounted in a special shock-absorbing frame that protects the converter from vibration and mechanical loads.

Returns & Changes (Restocking Fee)
For selected items, a RESTOCKING FEE of 10% may apply in case of return, order cancellation, or changes to the order specifications. This condition applies only to certain products and is confirmed at the order approval stage.

Extended warranty is available upon request and is agreed individually; it may affect the final product price.
