VVF-71M axial fan for equipment cooling
VVF-71M is a compact axial fan intended to cool computers, microcomputers, measuring equipment, individual instruments, electronic units and radio equipment. A rotating impeller creates a directed airflow through or around the equipment and helps remove heat that accumulates during continuous operation. Cooling computers, instruments and radio equipment
The purpose of VVF-71M is to provide forced airflow where natural convection is insufficient. It may cool a complete compact device or a separate heat-generating block inside an enclosure. Stable airflow helps maintain the required temperature of electronic components and measuring circuits. Actual cooling performance also depends on an unobstructed inlet and outlet, the resistance of the equipment enclosure and the correct mounting direction.
VVF-71M belongs to the same functional family as VVF-71 and VVF-112M. These links are provided for navigation; they do not mean that the fans are electrically or mechanically interchangeable.
Airflow and static-pressure characteristics
At zero static pressure, the nominal airflow of VVF-71M is 0.75 m³/min, equivalent to 45 m³/h. The minimum airflow is specified as 0.675 m³/min. At zero airflow, the nominal static pressure is 1.4 kgf/m², while the stated minimum static pressure is 1.2 kgf/m². The source documentation does not limit upward deviation of airflow, but this does not remove the need to test the fan in the resistance conditions of the intended installation.
Airflow and pressure describe different operating points. A free-air airflow value cannot by itself predict performance after the fan is installed behind guards, filters, grilles or inside a restricted equipment compartment.
220 V power supply and continuous duty
VVF-71M operates from a single-phase 220 V, 50 Hz AC supply. Nominal speed is 2850 rpm, power consumption is not more than 22 W and current consumption is not more than 0.15 A. The fan is rated for continuous S1 duty in accordance with GOST 183-74. It remains operational with supply-voltage deviation from +10% to −15% of nominal and frequency deviation within ±2.5%.
Before connection, the nameplate and product passport must be checked. A visually similar VVF-series fan may use another voltage or power arrangement, so the supply must not be selected by housing dimensions or family name alone.
Climatic version and operating checks
The documented climatic version is UHL category 4.2 according to GOST 15150-69 for operation in moderate and cold climates. The stated maximum permissible ambient temperature is +55 °C. VVF-71M is designed to remain operational under vibration from 1 to 55 Hz with an amplitude not exceeding 0.1 mm. Its mass is not more than 0.43 kg.
Incoming inspection should cover the complete marking, housing, impeller, electrical leads, mounting points and free rotation. During operation, contamination, unusual noise, vibration, overheating and reduced airflow should be investigated. Acceptance limits, repair procedures and maintenance intervals are determined by the passport and the documentation of the equipment in which the fan is installed.
Identification and ordering of VVF-71M
The product may be encountered as VVF-71M, VVF71M, ВВФ-71М or ВВФ71М. These are search and writing variants of the designation, not separate confirmations of interchangeability. When ordering, state the full marking, required quantity, condition, delivery set and documentation requirements.
