ISD-1 Distance Indicator Overview

The ISD-1 is an aircraft distance indicator used as part of the SD-75 / SD-75M onboard distance measuring equipment (DME). The unit provides visual indication of the distance between the aircraft and a ground-based transponder beacon. It is designed for installation in cockpit instrument panels and ensures reliable operation in aviation environments.

ISD-1 Measurement Function

The indicator displays real-time distance data received from the onboard DME system. Information is transmitted in digital form and converted into a visual numeric display. The unit ensures fast response and accurate representation of distance, supporting navigation and approach procedures.

ISD-1 Display and Operation

The device uses a digital display system (LED or gas-discharge depending on version). In the absence of signal, the display shows dashes, while system faults are indicated by blinking digits. The unit supports built-in test functions allowing quick operational checks before flight.

ISD-1 Aircraft Application

The ISD-1 is used on various aircraft and helicopters equipped with SD-75 systems. The system allows connection of up to two indicators simultaneously, providing redundancy and improved cockpit ergonomics for navigation monitoring.

In Stock — items available in stock at the Dubai warehouse are dispatched within 5–10 business days after receiving 100% prepayment.

Remote Stock — items available at our partners’ remote warehouses are supplied within an average of 30–45 business days after receiving 100% prepayment.

Pre-Order — made-to-order products are manufactured and delivered within an average of 45–60 business days. Payment terms: 50% advance payment to start production, with the remaining 50% paid before dispatch from the Dubai warehouse after full readiness for shipment.

Returns & Changes (Restocking Fee)
For selected items, a RESTOCKING FEE of 10% may apply in case of return, order cancellation, or changes to the order specifications. This condition applies only to certain products and is confirmed at the order approval stage.

Warranty
All products are covered by a standard 6-month warranty.
Extended warranty is available upon request and is agreed individually; it may affect the final product price.
