UI1-100K operating purpose
UI1-100K is a remote inductive pressure indicator. Displays pressure in the main or auxiliary hydraulic system from a remote inductive pressure transmitter. It operates inside an aircraft measuring or navigation channel and must be evaluated together with the sensors, computers, power supply and wiring of the exact installation.
The ID-100 transmitter converts fluid pressure into an electrical signal for the UI1-100K pointer mechanism. Serviceability of the pointer alone therefore does not validate the complete system. A functional check must also cover input signals, interconnecting lines, associated units and the specified test procedure.

UI1-100K in the associated system
Associated system: DIM-100 / DIM-100K remote pressure-gauge set. Nearest connected equipment: ID-100 pressure transmitter, 36 V 400 Hz supply and aircraft hydraulic-pressure line. These items form a functional chain but are not automatically included in the delivery set of one indicator.
Mi-8AMT / Mi-171 documentation places two indicators on the pilots’ upper electrical panel for the main and auxiliary hydraulic systems of the Mi-8 family. Applicability to another aircraft modification must not be inferred from appearance and requires confirmation in the parts catalogue, wiring diagram or maintenance manual.
Indication, power and cockpit installation
Indication range or presentation: 0–100 kgf/cm² indication range; documented operating pressure for Mi-8 hydraulic systems is installation-dependent. Power and input channel: 36 V, 400 Hz AC; legacy data records current consumption not more than 0.15 A.
Installation: Pilots’ upper electrical panel; the ID-100 transmitter is installed on the hydraulic panel. Before fitting, verify the complete designation, series, scale, connector or pressure ports, mounting, housing, glass and nameplate condition. The installed unit is then checked under the procedure for the applicable system and aircraft.
Identification of UI1-100K
The original Soviet/Russian factory designation is Cyrillic: УИ1-100К. The English card uses the consistent Latin transliteration UI1-100K. Similar-looking Cyrillic and Latin characters are not mixed inside the primary designation.
The indicator and transmitter form a matched measuring channel and must be checked as the correct DIM-100 execution. A visually similar instrument, adjacent series or comparable scale does not prove interchangeability. Selection requires a nameplate photograph, exact index, aircraft type, associated system and documentation requirement.
