A-036-1 System Overview

The A-036-1 is a transceiver unit forming the core of the A-036 low-altitude radio altimeter system. The unit is designed for continuous measurement of true height above terrain using radio frequency methods.

A-036-1 Measurement Function

The transceiver operates using frequency modulation (FM) principles, transmitting and receiving signals to determine altitude above the underlying surface. It provides real-time altitude data to cockpit indicators and automatic control systems.

The unit is installed on various aircraft types, including helicopters such as Mi-8MT, Mi-17, Mi-26, Ka-32, and other platforms requiring low-altitude measurement capability.

The transceiver operates as part of the A-036 radio altimeter system, working in conjunction with transmitting and receiving antennas, altitude indicators (e.g., A-034-4), and warning systems. Pre-Order — made-to-order products are manufactured and delivered within an average of 45–60 business days. Payment terms: 50% advance payment to start production, with the remaining 50% paid before dispatch from the Dubai warehouse after full readiness for shipment.

Returns & Changes (Restocking Fee)
For selected items, a RESTOCKING FEE of 10% may apply in case of return, order cancellation, or changes to the order specifications. This condition applies only to certain products and is confirmed at the order approval stage.

All products are covered by a standard 6-month warranty.
Extended warranty is available upon request and is agreed individually; it may affect the final product price.
