The ECN-14BM is an aircraft in-tank electric centrifugal booster pump used in fuel systems of airplanes, helicopters and selected ground fueling equipment. The pump is installed directly inside the fuel tank and works while submerged in aviation fuel. Its main job is to move fuel from the tank into the aircraft fuel line and maintain reliable feed conditions for downstream pumps, engines or transfer circuits. This design is practical for aviation fuel systems because the pump operates close to the fuel source and reduces the risk of external leakage from long suction lines.
