VR-14

VR-14 is a main helicopter gearbox developed on the basis of the VR-24 gearbox and intended for installation on Mi-8MT (MTV) helicopters, as well as for use during modernization of Mi-8T helicopters. The gearbox is a critical element of the helicopter transmission system and provides power transmission from the engines to the main rotor with a specified gear ratio.

The VR-14 gearbox is designed to operate with two gas turbine engines and performs power summation followed by transmission of torque to the main rotor shaft. Its design ensures reliable operation under high mechanical loads typical for helicopter takeoff, hover, and cruise flight regimes.

The gearbox is used as part of the transmission system of Mi-8MT and Mi-8MTV helicopters and is also applied in modernization programs of Mi-8T helicopters involving installation of more powerful engines and upgraded systems. Compatibility with engines of the TV3-117 family and VK-2500 series provides flexibility for various operational configurations.

VR-14 features defined time-between-overhaul limits and an assigned service life, allowing long-term operation provided that maintenance and overhaul requirements are observed.

Remote Stock — items available at our partners’ remote warehouses are supplied within an average of 30–45 business days after receiving 100% prepayment.

Pre-Order — made-to-order products are manufactured and delivered within an average of 45–60 business days. Payment terms: 50% advance payment to start production, with the remaining 50% paid before dispatch from the Dubai warehouse after full readiness for shipment.

Returns & Changes (Restocking Fee)
For selected items, a RESTOCKING FEE of 10% may apply in case of return, order cancellation, or changes to the order specifications. This condition applies only to certain products and is confirmed at the order approval stage.

Warranty
All products are covered by a standard 6-month warranty.
Extended warranty is available upon request and is agreed individually; it may affect the final product price.
