VD-10K Series 2 aircraft altimeter

The VD-10K Series 2 is a two-pointer barometric aircraft altimeter used to indicate flight altitude relative to the selected pressure setting. The instrument is installed on helicopters and aircraft where a mechanical cockpit altitude reference is required. It is commonly associated with Mi-8, Mi-17 and related helicopter platforms, depending on the flight instrument panel and static pressure system configuration. Barometric altitude indication on VD-10K

The VD-10K works as a mechanical aneroid altimeter. The instrument case is connected to the aircraft static pressure system.
