Roll, pitch and slip indication with AGB-96D

The main function of the AGB-96D is to show the aircraft attitude in a clear mechanical-visual format. The roll scale gives bank angle information, while the pitch indication shows nose-up and nose-down attitude relative to the horizon. The instrument also provides lateral slip indication, which helps the crew monitor coordinated flight. For helicopter operation, this is important during turns, hover transitions, climb, descent and flight in poor external visibility, where attitude reference must be stable and easy to read.
