Mounting frame RM-355G for aircraft power equipment

RM-355G is an aircraft mounting and damping frame used for installation of BRN120T5A-3C and BZUNP355G units. It is not an electrical generator or converter by itself. The frame gives the mounted equipment a fixed installation base and connects it into the aircraft electrical system according to the wiring layout. In practical use, it works as part of the installation set for onboard three-phase AC power generation equipment.

RM-355G damping and installation function

The main task of RM-355G is to hold the installed units and reduce the effect of vibration and dynamic loads. Aircraft electrical equipment often works in areas where vibration, shock and temperature changes affect connectors, fasteners and internal elements. The frame helps keep the units in the correct position and supports normal mechanical alignment. For maintenance, the condition of the frame, mounting points, damping elements and electrical contacts should be checked together.

Electrical integration through RM-355G

RM-355G also provides electrical mounting for the connected units. It supports circuits with DC supply and three-phase AC supply used in aircraft power generation systems. The frame is intended for use in systems where 400 Hz and 800 Hz AC networks may be present. Because the frame is linked to power generation and distribution equipment, replacement should be checked against the aircraft electrical diagram, not only by the part marking.

RM-355G with BRN120T5A-3C and BZUNP355G units

The frame is specified for installation with BRN120T5A-3C and BZUNP355G units. These units are part of the aircraft electrical power generation chain, so the RM-355G frame belongs to the same system group. It may be installed in an electrical equipment bay or another aircraft location defined by the airframe documentation. A frame removed from one aircraft should not be treated as universal until the mounting holes, connector layout and installed equipment version are confirmed.

Identification and ordering of RM-355G

Before ordering RM-355G, the marking should be compared with the aircraft parts catalog, power system documentation or the passport of the installed equipment. It is useful to provide the aircraft type, installed BRN120T5A-3C or BZUNP355G unit marking, and a photo of the frame or data plate. The product is also known under alternative designations RM-355G and РМ-355Г.

Returns & Changes (Restocking Fee)
