The GA-192T is an electromagnetic hydraulic valve used for remote control of hydraulic units in aircraft hydraulic systems. It is a spool-type valve with electrical actuation. The valve does not create pressure and does not work as a pump. It switches the hydraulic passage when an electrical signal is applied, allowing AMG-10 hydraulic fluid to reach the connected hydraulic unit. In service, GA-192T is used where a hydraulic mechanism has to be engaged from an electrical control circuit rather than by direct mechanical operation.
In operation, the GA-192T controls the supply of hydraulic fluid to selected control and auxiliary units. It may be used for activation of hydraulic boosters, control of the collective throttle friction mechanism, and operation of hydraulic stops in combined operating modes, depending on the aircraft hydraulic layout. When voltage is applied to the electromagnet, the spool changes position and the line switches according to the system diagram. The response is fast, but the result still depends on correct pressure, clean fluid, wiring condition, and the connected hydraulic mechanism.
Inside the hydraulic system, GA-192T works with pressure lines, drain lines, fittings, actuators, control units, switches, and aircraft wiring. If the connected hydraulic unit does not operate, the valve is only one possible cause. Maintenance checks normally include supply voltage, current consumption, connector condition, spool movement, pressure in the line, drain back pressure, internal leakage, and contamination of the AMG-10 fluid. A sticking spool, poor contact, low pressure, or dirty working fluid can produce symptoms similar to a valve failure.
The GA-192T is used in aircraft hydraulic systems where electrically controlled switching of hydraulic fluid is required. Listed applications include Mi-8, An-12, Yak-40, Tu-134, and An-32. Public technical listings also describe GA-192T as part of the GA-192 family of electromagnetic hydraulic valves, with its own pressure and drain-line limits. The exact installation depends on aircraft type, hydraulic circuit design, and modification standard. Before replacement, the installed marking and aircraft parts catalog should be checked.
Before ordering, the marking on the installed valve should be compared with the aircraft documentation, passport, or technical description. The product may appear as GA-192T or GA192T in English-language supply documents. In Russian documentation, the same unit is written as ГА-192Т. A request should include the aircraft type, system location, full part number, and a photo of the marking if available. The product is also known under alternative designation ГА-192Т.
