LPG-150M is an onboard aviation electric hoist designed for lifting and lowering cargo and personnel from helicopters. The hoist is used in cargo handling, rescue and special-purpose helicopter operations where a load must be raised into the cargo cabin or lowered from the aircraft during hover or ground operation. The unit operates from the helicopter 27 V DC electrical system and is used together with an onboard pivoting cargo boom.
The LPG-150M hoist is designed for lifting loads of up to 150 kg during airborne operation and up to 200 kg during ground handling operations. It can be used for lifting small cargo, equipment or personnel through the helicopter side door area. In helicopter use, the hoist works with the onboard boom so that the cable can be safely extended outside the fuselage and positioned near the open sliding door.
The LPG-150M is installed mainly on Mi-8 / Mi-17 family helicopters and may also be used on Kamov helicopters such as Ka-27PS, Ka-29 and Ka-32 where applicable by documentation. On Mi-8 / Mi-17 helicopters, the hoist is installed above the left sliding door of the cargo cabin, on or with the pivoting onboard boom. In the stowed position, the boom with the hoist is positioned close to the fuselage; in the working position, it is turned outward for lifting or lowering operations.
The LPG-150M hoist system includes the electric hoist, KUL-150 control box, PUL-1A remote control panel, manual drive handle and main steel cable. The electric hoist is equipped with electric drive motors and reduction gearing. The KUL-150 control box contains switching and protection equipment. The PUL-1A remote control allows the operator to control cable payout and retrieval. The manual drive handle is used for emergency manual operation where required.
The LPG-150M includes safety and protection features for helicopter hoist operation. A friction clutch protects the mechanical transmission and reduction gear from overload. A microswitch system disconnects power when the cable reaches the remaining safe number of turns on the drum. The cable tightening mechanism helps maintain proper cable tension during payout and retrieval without useful load, reducing the risk of cable loosening or improper winding on the drum.
The product may be referenced as LPG-150M, ЛПГ-150М or onboard helicopter electric hoist. The supplied item may be offered as a first-category unit with passport and factory packaging, where confirmed by the available documents. For correct supply, it is useful to specify the helicopter type, required condition, completeness of the control box and remote panel, cable condition, passport availability, packaging and whether the hoist is required separately or together with the onboard cargo boom.
