KP1-801 power supply unit

KP1-801 is an aircraft power supply unit of the KP-1D-76 control-and-computing complex. The complex belongs to the Kupol-76 navigation and targeting equipment and includes the Gnom-A airborne digital computer. The unit must not be confused with the KP2 radar blocks: the shared prefix reflects one wider complex, not identical functions.

Role in the KP-1D-76 complex

KP1-801 is installed in the KP1-342 equipment rack together with computing and interface assemblies. It provides the required power-conversion function for the KP-1D-76 section and supports the operation and built-in checking of the computing equipment. The exact input and output rails remain execution-specific and must be taken from the product passport.

Documented Il-76 installation

The KP-1D-76 complex is documented on the Ilyushin Il-76 as part of Kupol-76. The equipment set includes pilot indicators KP1-4B, selector KP1-10B, control panel KP1-10M, junction boxes KP1-17B/V, KP1-20 units, KP1-7 amplifier channels, KP1-8A power supply, KP1-45A input/output device and the Gnom-A computer.

Associated radar and navigation blocks

A related catalogue product is the KP2-30-5 radar transmitter-receiver monoblock. KP2-48V controls indicator sweeps, while BS1-3K forms the receiver section of KP2-30-5. These are useful system cross-references, but KP1-801 replaces only the matching power-supply execution in the KP1-342 rack.

Returns & Changes (Restocking Fee)
