The metal housing and impeller form a compact airflow unit that can operate on suction or discharge in continuous duty and in any spatial position. Free-air airflow, total pressure and static pressure describe different operating points. They must be interpreted together and checked against the equipment passport rather than compared by one number alone.

The documented operating temperature is −60 to +100 °C, with relative humidity up to 98% at +35 °C. Continuous operation and intermittent duty with on-time up to 40% of the cycle are permitted within the documented limits. The minimum operating-time figure for this execution is 3,000 h; dimensions are Ø85 × 45.5 mm and weight is 0.43 kg.

Incoming inspection should cover the marking, housing, impeller, connector or leads, mounting points and free rotation. During operation, unusual noise, vibration, overheating, current deviation or reduced airflow requires investigation according to approved maintenance documentation.
