Function and construction of DV-201
DV-201 uses a protected, self-ventilated DC motor with mixed excitation. The complete assembly is an all-climate fan for continuous duty. Installation must preserve the airflow path and the mounting arrangement specified for the serviced system.
The fan is a component of the cooled equipment, not a complete ventilation installation. Air-path resistance, correct rotation, unobstructed inlet and outlet and the specified supply affect its installed performance.
Electrical and airflow parameters
The nominal supply is 27 V with a ±10% tolerance. Airflow is 250 m³/h, rated power is 180 W and current is not more than 15 A. The documented speed range is 6,700–8,200 rpm.
Airflow and pressure refer to documented operating points and should be checked together. A visually similar fan with another suffix, voltage or frequency is not automatically interchangeable.
Operating conditions and inspection
The fan is specified for continuous duty and all-climate service. Before installation, the housing, impeller, motor, terminals and mounting points should be inspected, and free rotation should be confirmed without energising the unit.
Incoming inspection should cover the marking, housing, impeller, connector or leads, mounting points and free rotation. Unusual noise, vibration, overheating, current deviation or reduced airflow requires investigation under approved maintenance documentation.
