Purpose of 6N1P-EV
The 6N1P-EV is a miniature double triode for low-frequency voltage amplification. Two triode systems with separate cathodes are housed in one envelope, allowing two amplifier stages or a balanced circuit to be built with a single tube.

Construction and execution
The cylindrical glass envelope has a nine-pin button base. The “-E” suffix denotes extended service life, while “-V” denotes increased reliability and mechanical strength. These suffixes identify a specific execution and must remain part of the ordered designation.
Selection and installation
Before replacement, compare the complete marking, nine-pin wiring, heater current, bias and anode load with the original circuit. Similar double triodes may have the same outline but different operating points and should not be substituted by appearance.
