Construction
The tube uses a directly heated cathode and a water-cooled anode. It belongs to a large metal-glass generator-tube class, therefore the mounting hardware, cooling circuit, working position and protective measures must match the exact equipment documentation.
Operating data
Published reference data give a heater voltage of 12 V and heater current of 195–225 A. At an anode voltage of 5 kV, anode current is stated as 7–12 A, transconductance as 42–56 mA/V and gain as 42–57. The maximum operating frequency is 26 MHz.
Cooling and selection
Maximum anode dissipation is 60 kW and maximum grid dissipation is 2.6 kW. These values require a designed cooling and power system; they are not commissioning instructions. Before ordering, compare the exact marking, electrodes, cooling fittings and passport data of the offered tube.
