GMI-27B is a pulse modulator tetrode for high-current switching stages in pulse equipment. The tube is designed to form controlled high-voltage pulses and is identified by its complete GMI-27B designation, dimensions and electrode connection arrangement.

Construction
The compact metal-glass and ceramic body carries a broad finned radiator and a top electrode contact. Heater voltage is 12–13.8 V and current is 6.25 ± 0.5 A. The wider radiator and mounting geometry distinguish it from nearby executions.
Operating data
The pulse anode current is at least 20 A and remains at least 18 A at a heater voltage of 12 V. Input capacitance is 70 ± 10 pF, output capacitance 13 ± 3 pF, and transfer capacitance no more than 1 pF. Readiness time is no more than three minutes.
Cooling and selection
The radiator requires directed forced airflow. Maximum envelope temperature is 150 °C, ambient range is −60 to +85 °C, mass is approximately 750 g, and minimum service life is 1000 hours. Verify airflow and the original mounting dimensions before replacement.
