Purpose and application
GMI-26B is a pulse modulator tetrode designed for high-current switching in pulse modulator stages. Its operating class combines a compact electrode system with a finned external radiator for removing heat during repeated pulse operation.

Construction
The metal-glass and ceramic construction has an external anode radiator and a top electrode contact. Heater voltage is 12–13.8 V and heater current is 6.25 ± 0.5 A. The orientation and cooling duct must match the original installation.
Operating data
The pulse anode current is at least 20 A and remains at least 18 A at a heater voltage of 12 V. Input capacitance is 70 ± 10 pF, output capacitance 13 ± 3 pF, and transfer capacitance no more than 1 pF. Readiness time is no more than three minutes.
Cooling and selection
Forced-air cooling is used for the finned radiator. Maximum envelope temperature is 150 °C, operating ambient range is −60 to +85 °C, mass is approximately 650 g, and minimum service life is 1000 hours. Check the radiator, ceramic rings and terminals before installation.
