GI-41-1 is a compact pulse generator triode for generating and amplifying UHF oscillations in common-grid circuits. Its metal-ceramic construction is intended for pulse operation at frequencies up to 3000 MHz.

Construction and cooling
The tube uses an indirectly heated oxide cathode and natural air cooling. Heater voltage is 6.0–6.6 V and heater current is 1.4 ± 0.1 A. Overall dimensions are approximately 45 × 25.5 mm and mass is about 30 g.
Key operating data
At the specified pulse operating point, useful output is at least 1.8 kW. Pulse anode voltage reaches 3.2 kV, pulse current 2.9 A and pulse duration 1.5 µs at a minimum duty factor of 200. Rated anode dissipation is 40 W.
Selection and pre-installation checks
GI-41-1 is a separate version, not merely another spelling of GI-41. Selection should follow the equipment documentation and include the exact designation, terminal geometry, heater data and pulse ratings.
