23LM17V-1 purpose
The 23LM17V-1 is an indicator cathode-ray tube from the 23LM17V family, developed for observation of radar images with simultaneous photographic recording through an optical window. The -1 suffix identifies a specific execution and must be retained when ordering or selecting a replacement.
Construction and operation
The tube uses electromagnetic focusing and deflection, a blue screen with long afterglow and a 195 mm working diameter. The optical arrangement is intended to preserve the displayed radar trace during photographic recording.
