APD-58A System Overview

The APD-58A is an aircraft engine start automatic control unit designed for automated control of gas turbine engine start processes within onboard systems of helicopters and aircraft. The unit functions as a programmed control device integrated into the engine starting system architecture.

APD-58A Control Function

The device manages the sequence of activation of engine start system components, including starter operation, ignition systems, and fuel supply, ensuring execution of the start cycle according to a predefined timing program and automatic shutdown upon reaching required parameters or timeout conditions.

APD-58A Aircraft Application

The unit is commonly used on helicopters of the Mi-8 family and on certain aircraft types, where it supports automated start of main engines or auxiliary power units within onboard systems.

APD-58A System Integration

The control unit operates in conjunction with onboard engine and electrical systems, controlling external contactors, ignition units, and fuel valves through programmed time sequences corresponding to start, cold rotation, and false start modes. Returns & Changes (Restocking Fee)
For selected items, a RESTOCKING FEE of 10% may apply in case of return, order cancellation, or changes to the order specifications. This condition applies only to certain products and is confirmed at the order approval stage.

All products are covered by a standard 6-month warranty.
Extended warranty is available upon request and is agreed individually; it may affect the final product price.
