Voltage measurement through V-1

The voltmeter measures DC voltage directly across the connected circuit and displays the value on its scale. The instrument is intended for low-voltage DC systems where the operator needs a clear indication of supply or circuit voltage. Pointer damping limits oscillation and allows the reading to settle within the specified time. Correct operation depends on proper polarity, stable connection, serviceable internal measuring mechanism and insulation condition of the instrument and wiring.

V-1 scale and indication design

The instrument has a wide-angle scale that improves readability in compact panel installations. The pointer moves over a defined scale length and provides direct indication of voltage within the rated range. The small square housing makes the voltmeter suitable for installations where panel space is limited. Environmental resistance of the V-1 voltmeter

V-1 is designed for operation under vibration and shock loads typical of aviation and special-purpose equipment. The instrument withstands vibration in the specified frequency range and a defined number of shock impacts during testing. It is available in standard and tropical executions, allowing use in different climatic conditions. Insulation resistance requirements are specified for both normal and high-humidity conditions, which is important for reliable operation in aircraft electrical systems.

Before ordering V-1, the full designation, measuring range and execution should be checked against the product passport or equipment documentation. Similar small voltmeters may have the same housing size but different scale ranges, accuracy classes or environmental ratings. For correct selection, provide the equipment type, circuit voltage, required execution, installation panel details and a photo of the existing instrument if available.
