OK-10A check valve for hydraulic systems

The OK-10A is a hydraulic check valve used in hydraulic lines where the working fluid must move in one direction only. It is installed according to the flow arrow on the body and blocks reverse movement of the fluid. The valve is not a pressure regulator and does not switch the system by command. Its function is mechanical and automatic: when pressure comes from the permitted side, the valve opens; when flow tries to return, it closes the passage.

Reverse flow blocking through OK-10A

In operation, OK-10A helps keep pressure in the required part of the hydraulic circuit. This matters in lines where backflow can unload a unit, disturb pressure retention, or send fluid into the wrong section of the system. The valve opens at a low pressure differential and then allows flow through the passage. When pressure acts from the opposite side, the internal shut-off element seats and closes the line. The result depends on clean fluid, correct installation direction, and the condition of the spring and sealing surfaces.

Hydraulic circuit work with valve OK-10A

The OK-10A works together with pumps, pressure lines, filters, hydraulic units, fittings, and reversible lines. It is often used where the system needs a simple hydraulic lock against reverse flow. If pressure does not hold, the check valve is only one possible cause. Maintenance checks normally include contamination of AMG-10 fluid, condition of the seat, spring, shut-off element, connection thread, and possible leakage through adjacent components. A damaged sealing surface can make the valve look installed correctly while still failing to hold pressure.

Application of the OK-10A hydraulic valve

The OK-10A is applied in hydraulic systems using AMG-10 working fluid, including power hydraulic units, filtration assemblies, reversible hydraulic lines, and other hydraulic circuits where reverse flow must be stopped automatically. Exact installation depends on the equipment schematic. Similar check valves from the OK series may differ by passage diameter, thread, flow rate, and weight. For replacement, the installed marking and the system documentation should be checked first, not only the external shape of the valve.

Before ordering, the marking on the installed valve should be compared with the technical documentation or equipment parts catalog. The product may appear as OK-10A in English-language documents and as ОК-10А in Russian documentation. For a clean request, it is useful to provide the part number, system location, thread size, and a photo of the body marking if available.
