GSK-1500M DC generator
GSK-1500M is a 1.5 kW direct-current aircraft generator intended to supply a 27 V onboard network and charge the aircraft battery. Published operating material identifies the M execution as a left-rotation unit with a flexible drive shaft. This corrects the former catalogue wording “Right Rotation,” which belongs to a different execution and must not be used when ordering GSK-1500M.

Documented AI-14RA and Wilga application
The generator is documented with the AI-14RA radial engine used on the PZL-104 Wilga. In that installation it operates with an RK-1500R voltage regulator and an SF-1500R interference-suppression filter. Other AI-14 installations are reported in service literature, but the offered unit must still be checked against the aircraft parts catalogue, engine drive and nameplate.
Electrical and mechanical ratings
The recorded nominal voltage is 27.5 V. Rated current is 54 A with forced cooling and 36 A without forced airflow, over a 3,800–5,900 rpm operating-speed range. Continuous duty is permitted under the documented cooling conditions. Required cooling airflow is at least 30 g/s, while recorded shaft torque in motor operation is 1.62–2.52 N·m.
Construction, cooling and installation checks
GSK-1500M is a brushed DC machine using four MGS-8 brushes. Published dimensions are 297 × 136 × 130 mm and mass is not more than 12.6 kg. Selection must confirm the flexible drive shaft, left rotation viewed from the drive end, mounting geometry, electrical terminals and cooling-air connection. A visually similar GSK-1500V or GSK-1500Zh is not automatically interchangeable.
