VOR, localizer, GPS and glideslope presentation

The horizontal deviation needle presents left/right guidance for VOR, localizer or GPS operation. The vertical needle presents glideslope information when the MD200-206 receives compatible up/down and vertical-flag signals from an approved receiver. TO/FROM indication and navigation warning flags allow the pilot to interpret the validity and direction of the selected course. The OBS knob rotates the course card so the desired inbound course or bearing can be selected.

NAV, GPS and VLOC annunciations identify the type of information being displayed when the corresponding external control inputs are active.
