Function in the KURS MP-2 system

Divides the antenna RF path and matches the input impedances of the two glidepath receivers to the glidepath antenna. Common antenna-distribution element for the GRP-20PM receiver pair. Serviceability is evaluated in the installed signal chain, including power, antenna feeders, inputs, outputs and connected indications.

Exact electrical tolerances, test points and adjustment procedures must be taken from the product passport and approved maintenance documentation. Applying power or connecting a unit by analogy with a similar model can damage the equipment and produce misleading test results.

Interaction with related units

The closest functional connections for VO-010 are GRP-20PM, FNCh and VO-009M. Each unit performs a separate task. Their presentation as related products identifies a shared system context and does not mean that they are substitutes for one another.

Before replacement, technicians compare the markings of all connected units, connector pinning, monoblock configuration and the wiring diagram for the particular aircraft. A replacement unit may be supplied without cables, shock mount, mating connectors or other installation accessories.

Incoming inspection normally includes verification of the data plate and examination of the housing, connectors, mounting points and seals. Functional testing and adjustment require the approved procedure and suitable test equipment; appearance alone cannot confirm serviceability.
