PS1T signal converter in the SIRT1-2T system

PS1T is an aircraft signal-converter unit belonging to the SIRT1-2T fuel-flow measurement system. The complete system continuously measures and indicates the instantaneous hourly fuel consumption of each engine. PS1T supports the operation of the connected devices, the pre-flight system check and the transfer of information to recording equipment during flight.

Functional assemblies inside PS1T

Technical documentation divides the converter into functional nodes: PChR1T hourly-flow converter, BOP6-1T density-processing unit, USS1T/USS2T servo-amplifier channel, PSR1T total-flow converter, and the control and power circuits. Each node performs a defined part of signal conditioning; PS1T must therefore be repaired and checked as the documented assembly rather than as a generic power supply.

Signal conversion and indication chain

The hourly-flow channel amplifies and forms the signal from the instantaneous-flow sensor for the indicator drive. A frequency-to-DC conversion produces a voltage proportional to fuel flow, while the servo-amplifier processes the error signal for the indicating motor. BOP6-1T measures fuel density and introduces the corresponding correction. PSR1T forms and distributes sensor pulses for the totalizer stepper motor.

Aircraft application and interfaces

The SIRT1-2T system is documented in parts inventories for the Ilyushin Il-76. Exact PS1T applicability still depends on aircraft series, engine instrumentation and the installed SIRT execution. Connected sensors, indicators, recording circuits, connectors and pin assignment must be verified against the aircraft wiring and the PS1T passport.

Selection, testing and ordering

Inspect the enclosure, plug connectors, contacts, mounting hardware, seals and nameplate. A proper functional test reproduces sensor-frequency and density inputs and checks the indication, totalizer, control and recording outputs. Returns & Changes (Restocking Fee)
For selected items, a RESTOCKING FEE of 10% may apply in case of return, order cancellation, or changes to the order specifications. This condition applies only to certain products and is confirmed at the order approval stage.

Extended warranty is available upon request and is agreed individually; it may affect the final product price.
