BSTS-5 Series 3 digital communication unit

BSTS-5 Series 3 is the common Latin catalogue form of the Russian aircraft designation БСЦ-5 серии 3. Aviation inventories identify it as a digital communication unit. The “Series 3” suffix is part of the product identity and must be retained because another series may use a different circuit, interface or connector arrangement.

Function in onboard digital equipment

The block belongs to the communication and interface layer of aircraft avionics. Its supported description is limited to the exchange or transfer of digital information between cooperating units. It should not be presented as a radio communication set: the word “communication” here describes data interaction inside onboard equipment rather than voice transmission.

No platform, supply voltage, coding protocol, connector pinout, dimensions or mass has therefore been assigned by analogy. Confirm БСЦ-5, Series 3, the assembly or drawing number, connector keys and the installed-system reference from the aircraft records before selecting a replacement.

Inspection and supply

Incoming inspection covers the enclosure, connectors, contacts, mounting points, seals and complete nameplate. Functional testing requires the approved Series 3 procedure and known interfaces. For a quotation, provide the Cyrillic or Latin marking, aircraft and system if known, quantity, condition, required documents and delivery-set requirements. Returns & Changes (Restocking Fee)
For selected items, a RESTOCKING FEE of 10% may apply in case of return, order cancellation, or changes to the order specifications. This condition applies only to certain products and is confirmed at the order approval stage.

Extended warranty is available upon request and is agreed individually; it may affect the final product price.
