BP-20-3 is a stabilized power-supply unit. The existing technical data specify a single-phase 220 V, 50 Hz input and a 35 V stabilized output for connected electronic equipment. Confirmed electrical data
Allowable input-voltage deviation is +10% / −15% from nominal. Output voltage is 35 V ±5% with a load resistance up to 1 kΩ, and maximum power consumption at rated load is 8 W. An independent procurement record lists the BP-20 family as 220 V input, 35 V output, 100 mA and 8 W. The 100 mA value supports the family context but should still be checked in the BP-20-3 passport.
SEI-31 application
SEI-31 is an integrated display system used with Soviet fighter avionics, including documented MiG-29 installations. This confirms the system family, not universal effectivity for every aircraft or every SEI-31 modification. BP-20-3 and BP-20-1 must be compared by suffix, connectors, mounting and the installed system drawing.
Inspection and ordering
Inspect the plate, enclosure, connector, mounting, seals and signs of overheating. Test insulation, no-load output and regulated operation only with an approved load and circuit. An enquiry should include the full designation, SEI-31 or aircraft modification, quantity, condition, passport and delivery-set requirements. BP-20-3 within the SEI-31 installation
The SEI-31 reference establishes the system identity of BP-20-3, while the preserved card data establish its electrical values. Both parts are needed for correct selection: the system name alone is insufficient, and matching 35 V output values alone do not prove an identical connector or mounting. Confirm the aircraft modification and the SEI-31 wiring before installation.
