Fuel-system context

The same approved capability section groups БИП4-2А with ДТПР1-10 series fuel transmitters, the УКБ27-2 switching unit, УТО2К-6 indicator, ДРП3-3 transmitter and ИУ8-2 level indicator. This establishes a functional family but does not prove that every listed component is installed together on every helicopter. The general context is aircraft avionics and ATA 28 fuel indication.

Selection and interchangeability

The suffix 2A is part of the product identity. BIP4-2A, BIP4-2 and other visually similar БИП executions must not be considered interchangeable without the applicable parts catalogue and wiring diagram. Compare the Cyrillic nameplate, connector keying, mounting, drawing number and the complete fuel-gauging set installed on the helicopter. Transliteration variants are search aids only.

Inspection and ordering

Inspect the enclosure, connectors, contacts, seals and mounting points before bench work. Testing should reproduce the approved transmitter and indicator interfaces; unknown inputs must not be simulated by guesswork. An enquiry should state the complete designation, helicopter model and modification, system composition, quantity, condition, passport and delivery set. BIP4-2A evidence and maintenance boundary

The strongest open evidence for BIP4-2A is a Part-145 capability list: it records the exact Cyrillic designation, calls it a measurement and conversion unit, assigns it to ATA 28 and groups it with Kamov helicopter fuel equipment. It does not publish dimensions, mass, pinout or calibration limits. Those parameters remain controlled by the passport and maintenance data for the exact fuel-gauging installation.
