BCS-6-1T is the common Latin catalogue form of the Russian БЦС6-1Т. Technical descriptions identify it as the balancing and signalling block in the SUIT4-1T fuel control and measurement system. It contains two balancing channels: one for the paired No. 2 tanks and one for the paired No. 3 tanks.

Fuel-balancing functions
During automatic fuel sequencing, the block detects an imbalance between corresponding left and right tanks and commands the transfer-pump channel on the side with less fuel to switch off. The documented thresholds are 350 ±150 kg difference for the No. 2 tanks and 300 +100 kg for the No. 3 tanks. The associated cockpit/engineer-panel indication shows that the balancing logic is active.
SUIT4-1T equipment relationship
BCS-6-1T is installed on the UKB22-1T switching unit within SUIT4-1T. The wider equipment includes BI20-1T measurement blocks, BTP3-1T calibration/programming block, BPS3-1 sum-conversion block, relay blocks and the UTO2-6T total-fuel indicator. The automatic balancing function operates together with the system’s programmed fuel-consumption control.
Documented Tu-154 application and power
The SUIT4-1T system is documented on the Tu-154 family. System power uses 115 V, 400 Hz AC and 27 V DC circuits protected in the aircraft distribution network. These are system-level values; terminal assignments and standalone consumption of BCS-6-1T must come from the unit passport. The related BCS-4-1AT belongs to a different system.
Built-in check and ordering
The front panel provides CHECK No. 2 and CHECK No. 3 controls for the documented built-in test; the corresponding panel indicators are used during the procedure. Before supply, inspect the panel, lamps, buttons, connectors, rack fittings and the complete nameplate.
