2427 automatic temperature-regulator control unit
2427 is an aircraft control unit used in the ART-56-1 automatic air-temperature regulator. Technical literature for the Tupolev Tu-154 identifies two ART-56-1 sets, one for each main cooling branch. The unit amplifies electrical signals and sends commands to the actuators while stabilizing the temperature-control process. It is a system controller, not the temperature sensor or the cockpit setting device.

Operation in the ART-56-1 system
The documented ART-56-1 set comprises the 2427 control unit, a 2400 temperature setter, two P-1 temperature receivers and a ground-test connector. MPK-1 mechanisms on distributors 513 act as the final control elements. The regulator maintains selected duct-air temperature in the range from +8 to +40 °C, with a stated regulation accuracy of ±2 °C. The actuator operating interval is 1–1.5 seconds, followed by a pause of 1–15 seconds.
Application on the Tu-154
The system description is documented for the Tupolev Tu-154. The two ART-56-1 channels serve the left and right main cooling assemblies and can also be controlled manually. This application does not make every 2427-series block interchangeable: the base 2427 belongs to ART-56-1, while 2427A is documented in the separate ART-56-2 set for crew and passenger compartments.

Testing should reproduce the ART-56-1 inputs and check command timing, stabilization and both output directions under the approved procedure.
