DVO-0.7-400 Single-phase high-pressure axial fan
DVO-0.7-400 is a compact single-phase high-pressure axial fan for cooling electronic equipment and heating elements in thermal-control units. It is designed for a 115 V, 400 Hz supply and uses a phase-shifting capacitor in the specified single-phase circuit.
A fan transfers energy to air through a rotating impeller. For this product, that general principle does not replace verification of voltage, frequency, airflow, pressure, mounting and the complete designation.

Function and construction of DVO-0.7-400
The fan is built as a single-stage guide-vane and impeller assembly. Continuous operation is allowed, and published documentation also describes operation from a two-phase 115 V, 400 Hz sinusoidal supply with a 90-degree phase shift without the capacitor. The actual connection must follow the exact wiring documentation.
The fan is a component of the cooled equipment, not a self-contained ventilation system. Performance after installation depends on the resistance of the airflow path, unobstructed inlet and outlet, correct rotation and the electrical supply specified for the exact execution.
Electrical and airflow parameters
Nominal airflow is 50 m³/h. At nominal airflow, total pressure is 245 Pa and static pressure is 167 Pa. Power consumption is not more than 35 W, current consumption is not more than 0.33 A and rotational speed is at least 13,800 rpm. The average sound level is not more than 73 dBA.
Free-air airflow, total pressure and static pressure describe different operating points. They must be interpreted together and checked against the equipment passport rather than compared by one number alone.
Operating conditions and inspection
DVO-0.7-400 is rated for continuous operation from −60 to +100 °C, relative humidity up to 98% at +40 °C and atmospheric pressure from 2 to 150 kPa. It withstands vibration from 1 to 2,000 Hz at 100 m/s² and shock acceleration up to 400 m/s². The operating-time figure is 2,000 h.
Incoming inspection should cover the marking, housing, impeller, connector or leads, mounting points and free rotation. During operation, unusual noise, vibration, overheating, current deviation or reduced airflow requires investigation according to approved maintenance documentation.
