UE24/1-2 Electrohydraulic brake-release valve

UE24/1-2 is a electrohydraulic brake-release valve that connects the loaded wheel-brake circuit to return when commanded by the anti-skid or automatic braking system. The unit is an independent functional component of the applicable onboard system. Selection should be based on the complete designation, working medium, setting and installation diagram rather than appearance alone.

Operating principle of UE24/1-2

When the solenoid is energized, the hydraulic distributor connects the pressurized brake line to return and releases the wheel brake. After power is removed, the valve restores normal hydraulic supply to the brake circuit. Reliable operation depends on clean working fluid, the moving element, seat, springs and seals. Contamination, reversed connections or an unsuitable pressure can prevent the intended response.
