Operating principle of MKV-241
In the de-energized condition the normal airflow path remains open. Energizing the solenoid moves the internal element and changes the connected path according to the pneumatic diagram. Serviceability depends on the moving element, seat, seals and electrical section where fitted. Contamination, reversed connections or an incorrect supply can alter the intended response.
Role in the aircraft system
